How is the superyacht Ace project C144s arranged?

In March 2023, the superyacht ACE built by the Polish Conrad Shipyard was officially nominated in the category of displacement motor yachts under 500 gross tonnage and between 40 and 44.99 meters in length at the World Superyacht Awards.

Conrad Shipyard shared details of the yacht’s construction and arrangement on their website.

Building a superyacht is a process of creating not only a complex technical object used to carry passengers, but also additional work on design and aesthetics, so that in the end the result is a luxury item.

ACE is a new superyacht whose designers seek to bring innovation to the world of exclusive shipbuilding.

The yacht was ordered in January 2020, and the preparatory work and technical documentation gathering continued until construction began in July 2020.

The very first pure custom superyacht for a Swiss client, ACE was launched in October 2022 at Conrad shipyard, becoming the largest motor yacht in the company and in Poland’s history.

The modern design inherits the success of the classic designs of the past. This is the first unit in the C144s line, with more to come in the next years.

The design of the yacht was developed by several teams from different parts of Europe.

The exterior of the yacht was invented by the British studio Reymond Langton together with Diana Yacht Design, which is responsible for naval architecture and design. At the same time, the interior was designed by Milan-based M2 Atelier. With the yard’s own team managing the construction, the result is pleased the customer.

ACE is designed to meet high standards of quality and performance and offers a luxurious custom-tailored interior. It can accommodate up to 10 guests in five staterooms, including a master suite, and has cabins for nine crew members.

The designers of the yacht ACE chose to use only a few selections of materials in its construction. These materials include light wood such as oak for the interior and teak for the exterior, marble, gray leather, light-colored fabric and dark metal.

The furnishings in the yacht are designed to appear as if they are suspended above the ground, creating a sense of fluidity and continuity. The saloon features floor-to-ceiling windows that allow natural light to enter and provide a view of the surrounding ocean.

The bridge has an informal seating area with an L-shaped sofa under the panoramic windows. A bookcase in the salon hides a large-screen TV behind a panel.

ACE’s design emphasizes continuity and perspective between interior and exterior decks. The yacht features large outdoor seating areas that have been customized to suit the owner’s navigational plans and lifestyle.

The outdoor deck of the yacht ACE features a variety of multifunctional areas including a beach club on the aft platform, four lounge areas, a deck cinema, two bars and two dining areas. The top deck features an infinity pool. The yacht’s transverse garage can accommodate a 7m² tender as well as two jet skis and multiple sea bobs.

Powered by twin Caterpillar diesel engines, ACE can reach speeds of up to 13.8 knots and boasts a maximum cruising range of 5100 nm when cruising at 10 knots. This ultramodern superyacht is largely autonomous and provides the utmost cruising experience.

ACE is built to Lloyds LY3 and MCA standards. Her propulsion allows for transoceanic range and solid performance in rough seas. The low drag and efficiency provided by the vessel’s hull design enables autonomy of over 51000 nm with 51 300L of fuel capacity.

This vessel represents another important step for the Polish luxury shipbuilding industry.

After delivery to the client, ACE will make her debut on the international charter market with Luxury Charter Group.

Radek Gendek from Luxury Charter Group, who introduced the owner to the shipyard after managing his charter vacations for over a decade, says: “ACE is yet another example of how the relationship built with a dedicated broker is essential in the purchase and construction of your dream superyacht. When making the leap from charter to ownership, there is no better person to guide you through every step of the process from conception to delivery.”
